Go deeper — into the hearts of your crew, and into the core of Terracon 5. Unlock new areas, maintain the ship’s shields, repair damage taken, and maybe even find love along the way.
In The Space Between Us, you play as the captain of a ship with components that are constantly breaking - the engines, the weapons, the oxygen, and more degrade over time, and it's up to you to run around and fix them! Each component includes its own minigame that you complete to fix it. The game was submitted as a Jam entry in Ludum Dare 48, and won third place overall!

Controls
WASD/arrow keys --- move throughout the ship, selection for various minigames
E --- interact with ship components, action key for various minigames
ESC --- skip intro dialog, leave an in-progress minigame
Mouse --- selection for various minigames

Really impressed with this game, great job! :)
Holy moly, I LOVED this game! It was so much fun to play! The gameplay is incredibly hectic in the best possible way! What really adds to it are the fun visuals, awesome music (that’s dynamic depending on your ship’s health, nice touch!) and best of all, the banter between the Captain and the Cadet. The voice acting was pretty charming as well! All these elements blend together so well and make for an incredibly enjoyable experience.
Again, this was a ton of fun! Amazing job on this!
